Spent acid is produced in the process of manufacturing LABSA. The concentration of Spent Acid produced is about 75% as H2SO4. It is a powerful acidic oxidizer and in liquid state.

- Helps neutralizing Alkaline effluent in the E.T.P. Plants of Textile Processing Industries for re-cycling of water
- Used in extraction of Lignin precipitate from the Black Liquor generated in processing of pulp of paper
